Purple Wok Co. Swaroop Nagar Kanpur Food Ambiance & Overall Review

   PURPLE WOK CO. , KANPUR

PURPLE WOK CO. is an Indian quick service food chain serving usually contemporary Chinese food in a classic fashion. They are available in 12 cities with a total of 13 outlets, 2 of them are in Kanpur (Yay!). 

We two FoodBallers visited PURPLE WOK CO. Swaroop Nagar outlet to try it out. Before sharing our experiences we want you to know what exactly the word 'WOK' means, so as per wikipedia wok is a large bowl-shaped pan which is used for Chinese-style cooking. In India we call it 'Kadhai'.

So lets start with the location of Purple Wok Co. Swaroop Nagar Outlet,

what we feel about the ambiance it's pretty well decorated with posters and artworks with images of woks and drinks and the atmosphere in there will surely make you feel more hungry. it's a compact place not too much room, there are just 4 tables for max 2-3 person each, so if you're planning to hangout there with your squad of more than 6-7 people, think about it again.
Moving on to Food ... it's a mouth watering section, so much taste in there from spicy basil to schezwan and spicy plum. Purple Wok Co. let you make your own wok of your own taste.

Making Your Own Wok: 

1. Pick your size, Regular or Large, & Decide if you want to add Proteins (like Paneer or Chicken )
2. Pick your base, Rice or Plain Noodles or Hakka Noodles.
3. Pick your Sauce, with a wide flavors of sauces available from very spicy to not so spicy , we recommend to pick them wisely. (Give 'Volcano' & 'Schezwan' a try)
4. Time to add some veggies to your dish , from carrots to broccoli and zucchini so many options are there.
5. Finally time to garnish your wok with sprinkles, Try Peanuts for sure.

 Concluding this review, we experienced a very good food there and we suggest you to try it and taste a medium spicy wok with a chocolate shake. Having good taste in this place will cost you approx 700/- for 2 people.
